This tool will save growth-minded Financial Advisors hours. And it is free.

I met a sales rep for a SAAS company this weekend, and what he told me will save each Financial Advisor I know hours while also enhancing their credibility and ability to be a thought leader.

He said the most significant impact on his business had been ChatGPT. Where he used to spend 3 hours every Sunday planning, writing, and scheduling his social media posts for the following week, he now spends less than 30 minutes using ChatGPT to write all of his content. He then has to edit the article to sound more like his voice and schedule it to social media.

If you are unfamiliar with ChatGPT, it is an AI tool that writes content based on your questions. It is so good that Microsoft just invested $10 Billion in its parent company, OpenAI, for a MINORITY stake. Wild.

I can relate to his story, honestly. (The sales rep's plight, not the part about investing $10B.)

So, I asked ChatGPT to...

'Explain why someone would hire an executive coach.'

This is what I got back. Spoiler, it is not that bad.

An executive coach is a professional who helps individuals in leadership positions to improve their performance, achieve their goals, and develop the skills needed to be an effective leader. There are several reasons why someone might want to hire an executive coach:

  1. To improve leadership skills: An executive coach can help leaders develop the skills they need to be more effective, such as communication, decision making, and time management.

  2. To achieve specific goals: An executive coach can help leaders set and achieve specific goals, whether they are related to their personal or professional lives.

  3. To gain a fresh perspective: An executive coach can provide an objective and unbiased perspective on the leader's actions and decisions, which can help them identify areas for improvement and make better decisions.

  4. To improve work-life balance: An executive coach can help leaders find a balance between their professional and personal lives, which can lead to a more satisfying life overall.

  5. To improve self-awareness: An executive coach can help leaders become more self-aware, which can lead to a better understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses, and how they can best use those strengths to achieve their goals.

  6. To develop problem-solving skills: An executive coach can help leaders develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can help them navigate the complex challenges of leadership.

In summary, hiring an executive coach can help leaders improve their performance, achieve their goals, and develop the skills needed to be an effective leader.

While this is not in my voice and some places, a little redundant, it is accurate and only took 3 minutes. With some editing, I can make it sound more like me and be usable.

So what about Advisors? They constantly tell me they have tons of ideas for content but need more time to write and edit.

So I asked ChatGPT the following.

'Explain why you need an estate plan.'

An estate plan is a set of legal documents that outline how a person's assets will be managed and distributed upon their death. It is important to have an estate plan in place for several reasons:

  1. It allows for the efficient and orderly distribution of assets to beneficiaries, reducing the potential for disputes and legal challenges.

  2. It can help minimize taxes and other expenses associated with the transfer of assets.

  3. It can provide for the care of dependents and/or incapacitated family members.

  4. It can also provide for the management of assets in the event of incapacity, through the use of powers of attorney and trusts.

  5. It can also help in avoiding probate process which can be costly and time-consuming.

In short, an estate plan is a way to ensure that your wishes are carried out and your loved ones are taken care of after you pass away.

Granted, this could be better, but with some editing, it could be just what every Advisor wants. A quick, easy, and repeatable process to create original content for social media posts, blog posts, newsletters, and SEO. Oh, and it is free.

Give it a try. It may be your favorite piece of technology.
